Numbers that tie —
month after month.

I build the monthly reporting that small and mid-sized businesses need when spreadsheets stop being enough: IFRS management accounts, budgets, forecasts and financial models that reconcile, carry commentary, and stand up to a board or a bank.

What I do

Four things, done properly.

Most work falls into one of these. If yours sits between two of them, say so — the scope is usually easy to shape once I understand what decision the numbers need to support.

IFRS management accounts

Monthly or quarterly reporting packs prepared to IFRS, with commentary that explains what moved and why — not just a data dump.

  • P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
  • Variance analysis against budget
  • Board- and investor-ready formatting
  • Built-in reconciliation checks

Budgets and forecasts

Annual budgets, rolling forecasts and three-statement models with clean assumption logic you can change without breaking anything.

  • Three-statement forecasting models
  • Scenario switches and sensitivity
  • 13-week rolling cash flow forecasts
  • Capital investment appraisal (NPV, IRR)

Reporting automation

If you rebuild the same report by hand every month, it can almost always be automated. Excel and VBA, structured properly.

  • Excel and VBA automation
  • Messy spreadsheet clean-up
  • Control totals and audit trails
  • Documented source and handover

Dashboards and KPIs

Power BI dashboards built on a proper data model, showing the handful of numbers that actually change decisions.

  • Star-schema data models and DAX
  • Margin, mix and working capital KPIs
  • Power BI or self-contained HTML
  • Walkthrough call on handover

Work samples

Open the files. Check the maths.

Client work is confidential, so these are built on a fictional company with fully synthetic data. Everything else is real: the structure, the formulas and the controls are exactly what I deliver.

Danube Consumer Health Kft., Kestrel Nutrition Kft. and Halcyon Metalworks Kft. are fictional entities. Every figure in these files was generated for portfolio purposes; no client or employer data has been used.

Want something like this for your own numbers?

Tell me what you're working with and what it needs to do. If it's a fit I'll come back with a scope and a fixed price; if it isn't, I'll say so.

Anyone can put letters after their name. These are the ones I hold, and where you can confirm them independently.

Education

BSc Business Administration & Management

University of Szeged, Hungary

Graduated with a 4.6 / 5.0 grade average. Foundation in accounting, corporate finance and quantitative methods.

Working languages

Local language in.
IFRS English out.

If your books and your team work in Turkish or Azerbaijani but your bank, investor or parent company needs English-language IFRS financials, that translation gap is usually where the friction is.

I work directly in all three languages — discussing your accounts in the language you actually keep them in, then delivering reporting to international standard. No intermediary, no meaning lost in the handover.

How it works

A short, predictable process.

Scope call

Thirty minutes to understand what you have, what you need and what decision it supports. Free, and no obligation either way.

Fixed quote

A written scope with a fixed price and a delivery date. You know the cost before anything starts — no hourly surprises.

Build and check

I build it, then run the reconciliations. Nothing leaves my desk until the control checks pass.

Handover

You get the working file, a walkthrough, and one round of revisions included so it fits the way you actually work.

Background

Audit discipline, in-house judgement.

I'm a finance professional based in Budapest, currently working in financial planning and controlling for a consumer-health multinational, where I lead budgeting, forecasting and month-end close for the CEE region and partner with commercial teams on the numbers behind their decisions.

Before that I spent three years in audit at KPMG, ending as a senior auditor across multiple industries. That's where the habit of tying things out comes from — when your job is to check whether numbers hold up, you learn to build them so they do.

The other half of the work is automation. I've built ERP-to-Power BI bridge files and SAP macros that turned multi-day reporting cycles into something that runs in minutes. Most manual reporting is automatable; it usually just hasn't had anyone's attention.

I take on a limited number of freelance engagements alongside my role, which means I'm selective about scope — but it also means the work gets proper attention rather than being squeezed between twelve other jobs.

Common questions

The things people ask before they email.

If your question isn't here, ask it directly — a straight answer costs nothing and saves us both time.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes, and I'd expect you to ask. Send yours and I'll sign it before you share anything. If you don't have one, I can provide a simple mutual NDA to work from.

How do you handle my financial data?

Your files stay in my own storage, are never shared with third parties, and are deleted on request when the engagement closes. If you'd rather I work inside your own environment — your drive, your system, your access controls — that's usually the cleanest option and I'm happy to.

You have a full-time job. Are you actually available?

I take on a limited number of engagements at a time, which is exactly why I'm careful about scope. I'll tell you my realistic delivery date before you commit, and I'd rather decline than agree to a deadline I can't hold.

Evenings and weekends are my working hours for freelance work, so expect replies outside standard office hours rather than instantly during the day.

What does it cost?

Fixed price per engagement, quoted in writing before anything starts — not an hourly rate that grows while you watch. Price depends on scope: the number of entities, how clean the source data is, and whether it's a one-off build or recurring monthly work.

A thirty-minute call is usually enough for me to quote accurately.

What do you need from me to start?

Usually a trial balance or an export from your accounting system, last year's figures if you have them, and a short conversation about what decision the numbers need to support. I work from whatever your system produces — the format matters less than the data being complete.

What if the work isn't right?

One round of revisions is included as standard, so if the format or the level of detail isn't what you pictured, we fix it. Beyond that, I'd rather have an honest conversation than leave you with something you won't use.

Do you do bookkeeping, statutory accounts or tax returns?

No. I build management reporting, models and analysis — the numbers you run the business on. Statutory filings, audit and tax advice need a licensed local provider, and I'll say so rather than take work I shouldn't.

Do you work with companies outside Hungary?

Yes — most of my work is remote and across borders. I'm in Budapest on Central European Time, which overlaps a normal working day across Europe, the UK, the Middle East and Central Asia.

I work in English, Turkish and Azerbaijani, so if your books are kept in Turkish or Azerbaijani and your reporting needs to be in English, that handover happens with one person instead of three.

Get in touch

Tell me what's not adding up.

Book a short call or send a note about what you're working with and what you need it to do. If it's a fit I'll come back with a scope and a fixed price; if it isn't, I'll say so and point you somewhere better.

Usually replies within one working day. Based in Budapest (CET), working with clients across Europe.
